ELECTRICAL CABLE
Rados Cable supply a comprehensive range of robust and hard-wearing LV and MV electrical power cables such as AWA (aluminium wire armouring) and SWA (steel wire armouring) power cables. They are manufactured in accordance with British, European and International standards and specifications. As a specialist electrical cable supplier, we offer different material selections including Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Polyethylene (PE), Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE), Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) and Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH).
Our electrical cables are installed across a number of industries ranging from construction to power transmission. They are widely used for power distribution from MV mains power supply to LV applications to connect residential and industrial complexes or renewable energy sources such as wind and solar farms. LOW VOLTAGE POWER CABLES
Our standard low voltage cable portfolio contains cable with up to 5 cores, copper or aluminium conductor, steel wire armour, aluminium wire armour or steel tape armour for mechanical protection and various materials including Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Polyethylene (PE), Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE) and Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH).
In ground, outdoors, in concrete, indoors and in cable ducts where no mechanical damage is to be expected.
For installation in the ground, indoors, cable trunking and outdoors if increased mechanical protection is required or where high-pulling stresses may occur during installation or operation.
Used as lighting and power distribution cable. Installed in areas where severe mechanical stress is avoided. Can be laid in doors, out-doors, buried or in cable trenches.

Application | To be laid indoors, in tunnel, cable furrow or pipe, underground. Steel tape armored cable could bear certain mechanical force, but it can’t bear great pulling force. Steel wire armored cable is applicable to the well, water inside and fall in the bad soil, it can bear great pulling strength and mechanical forces. Transmission and distribution of medium voltage power lines at rated voltage 3.6/6kV – 26/35 kV. Generally applied to power, construction, mines, metallurgy, and oil & gas industries where no mechanical damage is to be expected.
